Integra which released the DHS-8.8 HD DVD player shockingly has reconciled this year with the release of the rather simple DBS-6.9 Blu-ray deck. Although the blu-ray version is far away from being stylish, it is at least not as bad as the last year’s version. Talks are around that the model is targeted basically on conventional DVD player users more than the younger generation who are fond of nano-tech gadgets. The unit is expected to cost under $600, a bit too much for many. Still, Integra is expecting the Blu-ray deck to score well in the market.
